Gameboy is going on an adventure this summer. As part of his adventure he has been supplied with a list of things to bring; that list includes "wool socks". Is it just me or is that a SIGN for my sock knitting escapades to see a resurgence and possibly an invitation to revisit the concept of "toe".
It's that or I start dropping hints to friends about my dire need for proper wool socks for my darling son to have with him while he is away from his mother for a very long time adventuring in a place that I can not even text message him or send a carrier pigeon. Would it be too large of a project if I threw in some intarsia "In Case Of Emergency Please Call XXX-XXX-XXXX"?
Harloteering via the Yarnery this evening, without socks but with a crocheter; wonder who we'll bump into?

Perhaps you can TEACH Gameboy how to knit, making his own socks? If you each make one, summer is a do-able timeline, right?
I plan to be at the Harlot event this evening with friends az and AP.

I may be there. I don't have a ticket, but I figure the weather will filter out the wimps and there will be room for me.
Harlot is here tonight? I knew she would be here right before April 15and assumed I wouldn't be able to go, but I realized today that I am starting to free up -- the huge lump of work has passed from my desk to Those Higher Up. Maybe I'll try to make it. (Just happen to have a sock in my purse, never go anywhere without it)
You should start those socks tonight! You'll need something to work on while you're stuck in snowstorm traffic.
Or you could send me to Cabellas with a credit card to purchase wool socks. I Promise (fingers crossed) that I'll only come home with wool socks for Gameboy.
