Welcome to another riveting installment of What Makes Me Smile Wednesday. Could it be that I will manage to fulfill a not so crazy commitment in blogging - so far so good!
Here are some things making me smile today:
~ The feeling of the warm sun shining on my face with a light breeze in the air.
~ The meticulous way in which The Princess prepared for school today except for completely forgetting to brush her hair.
~ My bowl of warm steel cut oats
~ The hope that I can convince those who haven't already to go send Chris some well wishes today as she goes under the knife. Make sure you give the kitties a pat while you're there.
~ The anticipation of getting to meet a brand new baby even though his booties aren't quite done.
~ Remembering that What Makes Me Smile Wednesday really works ;)

I wore jeans to school today with sneakers...I smiled like a crazy lady for hours and hours!!!
What made me smile today....
My son telling me he wanted to get something else from the Book Fairy. (It is book fair week at his school)
And what put me on cloud nine was the verification that the gobs of money we spent on ACT Prep over the summer was not a complete waste. As a matter of fact her scores jumped 4-6 on all the subscales except one (which she scored in the 90 percentile so we don't care). And best of all her composite score is EXACTLY what we were aiming for to get her off to college. Damn I'm proud of her.
